We are locally-focused radio: local talk, news, music, news/interviews nurture a vibrant, friendly, informed community.
As we are now ON AIR, we will become a vital part of our city offering live news coverage of local stories and more. Wildfires, floods and other emergencies remind us of the necessity for 24/7 live broadcasting of news!
We provide quality air-time support and advertising and promotional opportunities for Vernon businesses–from exciting startups to established community-minded businesses.
We provide broadcasting and promotional support for local sports and recreation as well as festivals, arts, and culture.
We give volunteer and learning (student) opportunities for careers in radio broadcasting, IT, writing, promotion, and more.
We understand that we have much work to do to establish the kind of programming, learning, quality, and advertising for which we are reaching here. But we believe that through this kind of local focus we can build a type of community radio that brings us together and is a vital part of the media landscape of our city.

Foundation for the Station
We are a registered-society, non-profit community radio station that is managed by a volunteer board of directors and its members. In order to operate and broadcast ONLINE and ON AIR, we need to move into our next phase of fundraising to build a “Foundation for the Station.”
